Vibes were high! Food was great! Service was also very quick. Different way of ordering but was still 10/10

Great food, great drinks and great service. Definitely come here if you are looking for a good brunch spot to get your day started. Would not recommend for young families looking for a quiet place to eat as it can get pretty rowdy.

Stopped in for cinco de mayo- yes we had a resy! Place was a total zoo! Line to get into the bar was very long and rainy... lucky I cut the line to get a table with the host. We asked to be seated outside since it was extremely loud with the DJ inside. You order using the QR code on the table - service was pretty good considering it was packed. We tried the mango margarita bucket (good!!), Mexican street corn, Birria quesadillas (so good!), 1 Pollo Asado & 1 Toro Asado taco. We also got 2 sides of chips and side of sour cream (1$) we never got the sour cream.... it was hard to get ahold of the staff so we just didn't even mention it. Oh well. Although a little pricey it was good. Would like to try it again maybe during the day...when it's not a night club!

I had my eye on this spot for a while as Mexican food is one of favorites. I was at an international women's events at the W hotel and need some food. This was close by and it was a Friday night so definitely a busy night there. We were able to grab a table and were attended to right away. I ordered the La Brujeria which was very good and strong and some Birria tacos which were delish as well. I tried my partners stuffed churros and they were actually delicious event thought I'm not big on churros. Overall the place is a vibe, service is attentive, food is good just wish the music was a bit more diverse.

Fat Taco is a fun and lively restaurant located conveniently by the PATH station in Hoboken. The service is fast - You scan a QR code and order rounds as you want, wait staff brings your food and drinks to the table. NOTE: Need apple pay! The tacos were tasty - $6 and $7 each for the chorizo and birria, respectively. Both classic. Ordered a frozen strawberry marg with sugar lined rim - These are STRONG! Will definitely be back!

Visited Sept. 2022. My girls and I checked out Fat Taco for brunch on a Saturday after hanging out at Tipsy Tie Dye! We were seated immediately and welcomed with a vibe. The aesthetics are cool and it wasn't packed at the time we went around 3pm. The menu didn't have many vegetarian options at the time but now, I checked their menu and there are so many more! For starters we ordered the Mexican street corn and carne asada fries. We decided on a sangria tower which was a great idea for a group of 4. We all were able to enjoy 3 glasses each. For my entrée, I had to order the churro french toast. Anything churro flavored is my jam! We all enjoyed our meals while dancing in our chair with music from a live DJ. Our waitress was attentive the entire visit which contributed to the good experience. Since they have more vegetarian options for myself, I definitely want to visit again and try out more menu items. This spot is cute for a birthday brunch or brunch with the girls!

Checked out Fat Taco on a Friday night right before the nightlife began and it was so loud already- the dj was there when we arrived and we had to yell to hear each other. The decor was nice and our server was great and the food! Everything we had (queso and chips, birria tacos) was really tasty but definitely under Hoboken prices $$. The bucket margaritas were also pretty good and not overly sweet like a lot of other margarita places, it was smaller than expected for their regular price but we did wait for the restaurant to turn into nightlife that night to get the specialized price. The seating is not very comfortable with the chairs/stools being how there are but it goes with the decor/ambience of the place. It's Hoboken- so paid street parking especially in this area can be tricky, try to find parking a couple streets down and just walk or grab a ride here. Make the reservation! It can get pretty busy quickly, on weekends.
